Dasheng intelligent yarn factory operates at full capacity
The Dasheng intelligent yarn factory in Chongchuan district, Nantong, is bustling with production activity these days, with products sold not only across China but also to the United States, Italy, Russia, Japan, the Middle East, and other countries and regions.
This 100,000-spindle intelligent spinning mill is China's first textile factory to deploy 5G data transmission technology and an intelligent management cloud platform.
It utilizes fully intelligent spinning equipment for end-to-end processes, achieving intelligent operations, interconnected equipment, and digital manufacturing, with production efficiency increasing by 20 percent compared to digital spinning workshops.
Jiangsu Dasheng Group Co, formerly Dasheng Yarn Factory, was founded in 1895 by Zhang Jian (1853-1926), a notable industrialist and educator in early modern China from Nantong.
In July 2024, Dasheng Group launched China's first carbon neutrality yarn factory construction project. With a total investment of approximately 100 million yuan ($13.93 million) and about 45,000 spindles, the project aims to establish a green factory achieving full-chain carbon control.
The first spinning frame at Dasheng Group's carbon-neutral intelligent spinning factory commenced trial operations successfully on June 5.
